Vicki Kormesch was born in Kronstadt, Transilvania 1st April 1989.

In 2006 she began to paint mainly abstract acryl portraits. they depict a figure invented by herself, that she calls "Damian-Rocco"

Her figure is an experiment of combining different styles of art. "Damian-Rocco" looks like a human victim of cubism artworks but he's just something like a comic character with street-art features and a touch of mad expression.

Shown in very strange, interesting, surreal or simply harmonic situations, Damian-Rocco tells us his own little story on the canvas. He is accompanied by many more or less good influences from his vicinity. For example by his girlfriend "Gloria", which is marked with a red bow, or their natural enemies the "Angel-Ants" (a mixture of an ant, an angel, and a bee).

As a result the "Damian-Rocco-project" is something like a story, with the paintings as the narrator and observers' imagination as the action.
